MIUT® - Madeira Island Ultra-Trail® 2026
Set on the rugged and breathtaking landscape of Madeira Island, MIUT® is a premier trail-running experience that spans from sea to sea, starting at face-level and ascending to some of the island’s highest summits. In total it offers five distinct race options to cater to a wide spectrum of runners: MIUT Legend, MIUT Advanced, MIUT Discover, MIUT Marathon, and MIUT Starter.
Each route ends in Machico, guiding participants through ancient levadas, dense laurel forest, steep ridges and dramatic coastal trails—providing a diverse mix of technical terrain, colossal views and unforgettable moments on one of the world’s most scenic islands.
